Avatar: Fire and Ash Returns to Pandora

James Cameron returned to the world of Pandora with Avatar: Fire and Ash, the third film in his record-breaking science-fiction franchise, arriving in December 2025. The film continues the story of the Sully family following the events of The Way of Water.

Cameron has described the new installment as expanding Pandora's cultures and environments, with the film reportedly introducing a new Na'vi group and pushing the visual effects technology that has defined the series even further.

Given that the first two Avatar films rank among the highest-grossing releases of all time, Fire and Ash arrived as one of the year's biggest cinematic events, continuing Cameron's ambitious multi-film plan for the saga.
